Tom Kuluris

Co-Founder, President, & CEO

Co-founded Liberty Development Company in 1996 and has held the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer and Managing Member of the Liberty entities from the beginning. Mr. Kuluris has been in the commercial real estate industry since 1989 when he joined the Hadley Fund as vice president and chief financial analyst. In 1992, after developing several commercial projects in the Cleveland area, the firm changed its name to Cleveland Real Estate Partners and began focusing on service and consulting projects. Mr. Kuluris had a myriad of responsibilities including chief financial officer for the company as well as the complete oversight of each of the Hadley partnerships. He co-founded the investment services group and oversaw the site acquisition, development, entitlement, financing and construction of projects for many of the firm’s clients. Mr. Kuluris began his career as a Certified Public Accountant in 1987 with Laventhol & Horwath.

Mr. Kuluris is on the board of directors of Canterbury Capital, a Mid-Cap business acquisition company, and has held previous director positions with the Business Acquisition Group and Premier Modular Building Company. Mr. Kuluris is dedicated to civic involvement and currently serves in a trustee capacity with Julie Billiart School, where he has served on the executive committee and chair of the advancement committee, and the Cleveland State University Foundation, where he is a member of both the investment and communications committees. He is also a member of Bluecoats, Inc. and the International Council of Shopping Centers. In the past he has been active or held leadership positions with: Saint Martin de Porres High School, the Campus District Inc., JD Breast Cancer Foundation and the John Carroll University Entrepreneurship Association.
