Ty Stewart

Over his 35-year career in the construction and real estate development industry—beginning as an equipment operator and laborer while earning his bachelor degree in civil engineering from Youngstown State University—Ty Stewart has literally done it all. At Liberty, he’s responsible for overall management of the company’s development and construction projects from preliminary feasibility through completion.

Ty has held multiple senior level positions at various general contracting and development companies with direct responsibility for developments totaling several hundred million dollars in value, including several corporate offi ce complexes and major medical facilities, many regional malls, and various large scale industrial parks throughout the northeastern and midwestern United States.

Ty also serves as the President of LDC Construction, LLC, which is Liberty’s in-house construction arm. In that role, Ty manages the company’s in-house project managers and project superintendents, while also working directly with select third-party clients where Liberty can add value to their design-build and other construction needs.
